Spicy Honey Glazed Salmon
Ingredients:
4 8 oz. salmon fillets, skin removed
2 tsp. olive oil
t tsp. smoked paprika
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Sauce:
1/4 cup Wildflower Mesquite Honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. onion powder
2 Tbsp. water
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp. Los Chileros Crushed Chile Pequin
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. ginger powder
additional olive oil to sear salmon
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder and cayenne pepper, season salmon on all sides
Mix together the sauce ingredients, set aside
In a large nonstick skillet on medium heat, add olive oil and sear salmon on both sides, about 4 minutes per side
Pour the sauce into the pan and cook 2-3 minutes, until sauce thickens. Spoon the sauce over the salmon as it cooks to glaze
Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions
