Sausage and Green Chile Poppers
Ingredients:
3 cups biscuit mix
1 lb. hot Italian sausage
4 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. Chimayo Pure Red Chile Powder
1 cup Santa Fe Seasons Flame Roasted Hatch Green Chile
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl, combine sausage and biscuit mix. Add cheeses, green chile, milk and spices
Mix until well combined. Using a tablespoon scoop, portion and shape into balls on a greased baking sheet
Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately
