Green Chile and Onion Dip
Ingredients:
1 cup Santa Fe Ole Roasted Hatch Green Chile
1 large onion, finely diced
2 tsp. olive oil
2 tsp. Los Chileros Ancho Chile Powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 lb. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 1/2 cup sour cream
finely chopped cilantro for garnish
Directions:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Add onion and sauté over medium heat until browned, 10-12 minutes
Add green chile, chile powder, garlic powder and Worcestershire and cook 5 minutes more. Cool completely
Combine cream cheese and mayo in a food processor. Add Parmesan and sour cream and mix well
Stir in chile mixture. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with your favorite chips
